Tiffany Adigwe is a Patent Agent with the firm, where she focuses on filing a variety of provisional, utility and national phase patent applications in a wide range of technologies. Tiffany also assists in conducting oral Restriction/ Elections and Examiner's Amendments with Patent Examiners at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). She currently works in the New Applications Department where she supervises, reviews and signs off on the preparation of new patent applications, preliminary amendments, assignments, and responses for filing with the USPTO.
While attending law school, Tiffany externed alongside patent attorneys, assisting with the preparation, drafting, and prosecution of design and utility patent applications for independent inventors. Prior to joining the firm, Tiffany gained experience in many different levels of patent practice, including inventor interviews, drafting opinion letters, preparing provisional and non-provisional utility applications, and handling Office Action responses, Notice of Allowances, Issue Fees, Certificate of Corrections and Patent Term Adjustment calculations.
