Scott Schulte is Of Counsel with the firm. He joined the firm as an associate after graduating from law school in 2000. Scott focuses his practice primarily on patent prosecution in a wide range of technologies, including various automotive technologies, medical devices, power tools, gas turbine engines, and optical devices. Scott has broad experience conducting all phases of prosecution for U.S. and foreign patent applications for both utility and design applications, including patent application drafting in a variety of technology areas. He has also successfully briefed and argued numerous appeals before the USPTO Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Scott also works on portfolio and due diligence analysis, infringement and validity opinions.
Scott is part of the firm’s mentorship program for new attorneys. As a mentor, Scott supervises new attorneys and provides hands-on training to develop their patent prosecution and client counseling skills.
