Prior to law school, Patrick worked as an engineer at a German automotive manufacturing company for nearly a decade. His work as an engineer focused on a range of automotive manufacturing technologies delivered to multiple original equipment automotive manufacturers, including diesel exhaust treatment, diesel fuel delivery systems, and gasoline fuel delivery systems.
