Nisha Ramesh is an Associate of the firm and focuses on patent prosecution in the life sciences field.  Nisha has particular experience in the areas of histology, immunohistochemistry, medical devices, and biochemistry.

Nisha has a Bachelor's in Biology from Occidental College and a Master of Public Heath from the University of San Francisco.  Her Master's thesis focused on how to prevent the spread of Tuberculosis infection outbreaks in Santa Clara County based on her epidemiological research with the Santa Clara County Public Health Department.  Prior to law school, Nisha worked in the neuroscience group at Teva Pharmaceuticals as a Biological Researcher in new drug discovery where she performed histology, immunohistochemistry, and various other assays to assist in the pharmaceutical development of therapeutic antibodies.  In law school, Nisha earned a High Tech Law Certificate with an Intellectual Property Specialization and she participated in the National Patent Drafting Competition organized by the USPTO.
