Gang Luo is a Member of the firm and has been with the firm since 2002. He focuses his practice primarily in the areas of patent prosecution and client counseling in technologies such as semiconductors, magnetic sensors, automotive components and drive trains, medical devices, power tools, gas turbine engines, solar energy devices, optical devices and computer software. He has considerable experience in all phases of patent application prosecution, including appeals before the USPTO Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Gang also serves as a mentor to many of the firm’s junior attorneys.

Gang was raised in China and is a native Chinese speaker. With his Chinese background and language capabilities, Gang provides extensive counseling and advice to the firm’s Chinese clients, assisting them in all aspects of patent prosecution before the USPTO. Gang travels regularly to China and has been invited to provide lectures and seminars about U.S. IP law and practice in China by the All-China Patent Attorney Association (ACPAA) and many other Chinese IP organizations and firms.
