Donna Mason is an associate in the firm’s electrical practice group, where she focuses on patent prosecution matters in the electrical arts, including in the areas of image display devices, electronic drivers, imaging devices, light-emitting devices, electro-optical apparatuses, vehicle and motor control systems, and power supplies. Donna also has experience in a wide range of technologies in the biomedical and mechanical arts.
Before joining the firm in 2015, Donna worked in private practice as a patent attorney, prosecuting patents primarily in the electrical and biomedical arts. She also worked as a patent examiner at the USPTO, where she examined patent applications in the electrical arts, specifically in the area of computer architecture.
Before attending law school, Donna worked for several years in private industry as an electrical engineer. In that position, she gained experience in the nuclear power industry, particularly in the field of nuclear electrical engineering.
