Michelle Ugalde is an Associate of the firm and focuses on patent prosecution in the life sciences field, as well as trademarks. Michelle has experience in the areas of Neuroscience, neural devices, and the healthcare field.

Michelle has a Bachelor’s in Neuroscience from Virginia Tech, and also minored in Science, Technology, and Law, which largely focused on Intellectual Property. Prior to law school, Michelle worked as an undergraduate research assistant in a Neural Dynamics and Neural Engineering lab, investigating sleep and memory consolidation.
