Scott Strickland is a Member of the firm. He has been with the firm since 2011 and primarily practices in the areas of patent prosecution and opinion drafting. Scott has extensive experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a wide range of technology areas, including computer software, semiconductors, optical devices, various automotive and aerospace technologies, medical devices, metrological devices, and sports equipment. He has successfully briefed and argued numerous appeals before the USPTO Patent Trial and Appeal Board and has represented clients in both ex parte reexamination and inter partes review proceedings.

Scott regularly counsels and supports clients in developing and managing their patent portfolios. In this regard, he regularly travels frequently to Japan and assists clients with due diligence, infringement and invalidity opinions. Scott also has considerable experience assisting with litigation matters, including preparing pretrial motions, taking depositions, and managing discovery.
