Navin Bora is an Associate of the firm with over ten years of patent drafting and prosecution experience. Navin focuses his current practice primarily on patent prosecution and client counseling in a wide range of technologies, including chemistry, chemical engineering, semiconductors, materials science, biochemistry, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, molecular biology, and medical equipment, as well as automotive engineering, fuel delivery systems, hybrid electric powertrains, advanced batteries, and sensors. Navin has also assisted with handling patent matters in various aspects of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI), and he has experience with Inter Partes Review (IPR) proceedings before the USPTO Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) Hatch-Waxman litigation and other IP litigation related matters.
Navin previously resided in Japan and has traveled to Europe and Asia to meet with clients and assist with providing lectures and seminars on US IP law and practice. Prior to attending law school, Navin worked as a metallurgical and an operations technology engineer for a leading fully integrated global steel corporation in Indiana.
