Brian Repper is an associate in the firm’s electrical practice group, where he focuses on patent prosecution and client counseling in the areas of electronic devices, semiconductors, software, mechanical devices, and biomedical devices. Brian has broad experience conducting all phases of prosecution for U.S. and foreign patent applications, including extensive experience drafting U.S. patent applications and prosecuting appeals at the USPTO Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Brian also conducts portfolio and due diligence analysis, infringement and validity opinions, and has experience in various post grant proceedings. With a strong technical background, Brian specializes in handling patent matters involving difficult or complex technology.
Brian has practiced intellectual property law since 2009, with extensive experience obtaining and enforcing intellectual property rights for a wide variety of clients, from individual inventors to large multinational corporations. Prior to joining the firm, Brian was a patent attorney at an intellectual property law firm in the New York City metro area, where he was involved in over a dozen Federal intellectual property litigations, prosecuted hundreds of patent applications, and conducted other intellectual property enforcement activities such as infringement investigations and licensing negotiations.
