DECISION ISSUED BY June 28, 2010 The U.S. Supreme Court today issued the long-awaited Bilski v. Kappos decision, affirming the rejection of Bilski's claims as being directed to unpatentable subject matter under 35 U.S.C. § 101, but rejecting the "machine or transformation" test as the only test for compliance with § 101.
